ASSEMBLIES OF GOD CHURCH 2 OGALE CELEBRATES HER ANNUAL MEN’S DAY CELEBRATION ON SUNDAY 9TH SEPTEMBER 2018

It was an exciting and joyous day in Assemblies of God church 2 Ogale as the men of the church joined other Assemblies of God men to celebrate her men’s day

The men’s day celebration which is an annual event organized by the General Council of Assemblies of God Nigeria for all men to celebrate and explore their God given talent, featured special ministrations such as special songs, Bible recitation, Table discussion amongst others.

This year theme which is Manifesting the Glory of Revival is aimed at Reviving and igniting souls for God, as well as restoring the Glory of God in the Church.
In a sermon, the men's president of Assemblies of God church 2 ogale, Mr. Fere Theophilus preached on the topic Manifesting the Glory of His Blessing and reading from the Bible book of Proverbs 10: 20-23, 2 Samuel 6:7. He said ‘the church is confused today and the confusion the church has is dependent on Material things, thinking that it’s God’s blessing’.

He stated that God in his wisdom has provided everything to enhance people in this world, adding that those things can’t be gotten except by effort. Also reading from the bible Matthew  5:6, he explained that the light is referred to believers characters, and issues that comes from the one’s heart should be manifested.
He lamented that the greatest problem of the church today is ignorance, stressing that most Christian read the bible but don’t understand. He however urged the church to manifest the Glory of God on earth.

Meanwhile, the celebration was well attended by church members, pastors, invited guest and well wishers.
